Mindfully Wired once again approached me to work on this amazing project for Cefas and Defra. The objective was to develop a website and tool which would allow users to find various measures that reduced wildlife entanglement.
With a clear objective and specific design requirements; the plan for this project was established.
A clean and simple design with a focus on navigation, making it easy for users to find the information they were looking for. The “Bycatch Mitigation Hub” was developed to sit on its own page where users would enter the search criteria before seeing the results. The design for this was to be somewhat different from the rest of the site, to make it feel like a separate system.
Encompassing the awesome geometric illustrations, brand colours and photography, the new website was developed, following the clean and blocky look.
The mitigation hub focussed primarily on the functionality, and after a few tweaks and improvements, the final iteration was completed and launched alongside the new website.
Ben brings our visions to life, precisely how we specify them, but is equally as comfortable crafting his own ideas and bringing his technical know-how to fresh projects. Above all, Ben is reliable.
